Rental Information

The Kelowna Community Theatre has 3 spaces available for public rental. For everything from, holding a conference or classes, staging a performance and/or planning a meeting or reception, the theatre is well equipped to serve you. The complex includes an 885 seat theatre, 236 person capacity lobby, complete backstage amenities, and a 1200 square foot rehearsal hall (Black Box Theatre). With state-of-the-art technical systems and a professional staff, your event will be well-managed from start to finish.

Theatre

Rental of the theatre includes all dressing rooms, The Green Room, Wardrobe Room and the loading bay. Rental also includes: one house technician for 8 hours, front of house manager and all front of house staff for 5 hours(except box office). Rehearsal Room

1200 (106 person capacity) Sq.Ft. multi-purpose room, great for rehearsing, classes, meetings, private functions or even as a Black Box Theatre. It has 2 washrooms, a coffee station and professional lighting system.

Lobby

The lobby is ideal for receptions, private functions, exhibitions and displays. It is carpeted, 2 levels, and equipped with a concession with full bar facilities, coffee garden and beautiful art displays.   The lobby is only available for rental when it is not in use for a Theatre function.  Lobby rentals will not be booked more than two weeks in advance of the rental date.

Renters

If not having Ticketmaster or Select Your Tickets handle your ticket sales, the theatre does have a box office station in the foyer of the theatre that can be used for ticket sales the night of the performance. Staffing the box office is responsibility of the renter as theatre rental does not include box office staff.
