Volunteer
The Kelowna Community Theatre has a variety of events, from plays and musical concerts, to seminars and meetings.
The Front of House staff comes with the booking of the theatre at no extra charge to the renter.
Why Volunteer with KCT?

- Students-16 and up can fill their community requirements to obtain job references

General Information
- If interested, a 'Volunteer Registration Form' is to be completed.
- Attend the monthly meeting for orientation.
- Attend the monthly meeting to sign up for upcoming events.
- If unable to work the event you have signed up for, it is your responsibility to obtain a replacement.
- No minimum number of hours is required for volunteers, just sign up whenever your time allows.
- The uniform required for all volunteers is a white shirt and a black skirt or pants.
The Jobs
Detailed duties are provided, but some of the positions available:
- Head ushers - assisting the Front of House Manager for this event.
- Ushers - assisting patrons as required.
- Ticket takers - taking tickets at the entrance.
- Concession - operating the wine and snack bars.
- Coat check - taking coats from patrons.
